Glenn MacLean-Talbot, BS, MSPT, DPT, OCS
Glenn MacLean-Talbot is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist with extensive experience treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions involving the hip, knee, ankle, lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine, shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. He graduated from physical therapy school in 2005 after completing his studies in Bangor, Maine.
Originally from the Eastern Townships of Québec, Glenn grew up immersed in both music and sports—including baseball, basketball, soccer, skiing, and tennis. As a competitive freestyle skier (specializing in halfpipe and moguls) and a collegiate soccer player, he experienced many injuries throughout his athletic career. His fascination with science and physics, combined with the physical therapy treatments that repeatedly helped him return to the activities he loved, ultimately inspired him to become a physical therapist.
Glenn has lived in Bend for 13 years and brings his passion for movement, performance, and problem-solving to working with patients and athletes of all levels and ages. He treats participants in skiing, basketball, baseball, golf, tennis, pickleball, rock climbing, soccer, running, CrossFit, lacrosse, road and mountain biking, snowboarding, swimming, and volleyball. He also holds advanced training in vertigo, TMJ disorders, and concussion management, and is a certified ergonomist providing workplace, home, and vehicle ergonomic assessments.
Glenn enjoys teaching patients how their bodies work, explaining the physics and mechanics behind their injuries, and outlining a clear, personalized path to recovery. He combines 20 years of hands-on manual therapy with targeted in-clinic exercises and customized home programs to help patients recover as quickly and strongly as possible. He also enjoys working with individuals looking to optimize human performance, reduce injury risk, and move with greater efficiency.
Glenn enjoys working at Alpine Physical Therapy, where he values the excellent facilities and state-of-the-art equipment. He appreciates Alpine’s commitment to true 1:1 care, with every treatment session spent directly with a therapist, ensuring that each patient receives focused, individualized attention throughout their recovery.
Outside the clinic, Glenn enjoys running outdoors, skiing, traveling, surfing, and spending time outside with his wife, their two boys, and the family’s energetic chocolate lab.
